Your Agreement and The Sacrifice

She needed her car.

She had to get around town.

Her tire was blown and the rim was shot.

She has no family. A few friends. No partner.  No kids.  And, very little money.

She really needed her car.

Somehow, she found a way; she finally maxed out her credit card.

She fixed it all.  She had her car back.

Things Are Temporary

janis cohen message

A beautiful thirty year old woman came in for a reading.

She wanted to know about what most want to know when they come in for a reading:love, money, and work.

Typically, those who come in to see me for a reading or a therapy session are there not only to get messages for themselves, but also to deliver messages to me.

“Ok, now what?” How a 16 year old girl changed her life in minutes.

Never Be Afraid of The Truth Because It Will Never Hurt You.

Destiny

You can look… and you will FIND it.

You can not look… and you WILL find it.

That which is yours will surely come to you.”

(Daniel Levin)

What is this thing called destiny?  Do you believe that your life has a specific direction and purpose? Do you believe that regardless of how you choose to live your life, that there are forces beyond you that collude, communicate, and contribute to your life without your consent?

“A tapestry of events that culminate into a life plan”….”A pre-determined course of events often held to be an irresistible power”… is this even true? Continue reading

Lies We Tell Ourselves

Truth be told, we lie to ourselves more often than we realize.  We rationalize, justify, and defend what we believe, think, and do, so that we can make our life ok when it isn’t , to impress someone, or to be accepted.

I bet you don’t even realize how often you lie to yourself.  We all do it.   Pretty soon, the accumulation of these little white lies becomes your re-written truth.

Here are some examples of lies you might tell yourself and others: Continue reading
